Independent Practice, Monmouth, South Wales.
Monnow Eyecare in Monmouth www.monnoweyecare.co.uk is looking for an Part Time optometrist from September 2025
Monnow Eyecare is an established Independent in Monmouth, at the edge of the Brecon Beacons with excellent cycling, canoeing, rowing and walking.
Within an hour of Bristol, Bath, Cardiff and Birmingham.
We are looking for one or two days.
Locum or employed considered.
We are a practice who specializes in high quality care with full use of extended skills. We offer 40 minute appointments,
As well as providing a full WGOS service we provide an extended range of services including:
• IPOS emergency triage and treatment scheme
• Low Vision Service
• Per and Post Cataract assessment
• WGOS4 glaucoma services
• WGOS4 Med Ret services
• Specialist Contact Lens service including Ortho K
• OCT and DnEYE scanner
• Myah
There is full dispensing and optical assistant support with a really friendly and knowledgeable front of house team.

Higher qualifications preferred but supported if you are keen to upskill.
