Bristol – Eye-dentify: Trichiasis vs Entropion

🗓️ 28 April 2026

📍Newmedica Eye Health Clinic & Surgical Centre – Bristol Aztec West Bristol, England

3 CPD Points

This discussion workshop explores how to identify and manage trichiasis and entropion – two conditions that can be easily confused in primary care but require different management approaches. With entropion affecting around 11% of people over 80, recognising and correctly treating these eyelid conditions is vital to prevent complications such as corneal damage, ulceration, infection, and potential vision loss.

Key learnings:

  • Identify key clinical features that differentiate trichiasis and entropion
  • Discuss appropriate management options with colleagues in the best interests of patients.
